For those who would like to get to experience more of the Varanger region, what better way than a road trip along the route longing the south of the Varanger fjord? A fun way to immerse yourself in the beauty, history and culture of Varanger.
If the road trip starts from Vadsø, we will drive towards the western direction of E75, we will drive through the villages of Vestre Jakobselv and Mortensnes, where we will look at remains that date as long back as the Stone Age. We will then make a few short stops in the beautiful region of Nesseby and Varangerbotn. Optional visit of the Sami museum (entrance fee).
And the trip doesn’t finish yet! We will continue driving southwards towards Kirkenes, with a few stops on the way (for example to see the beautiful Neiden church).
Feel the serenity that this corner of the World induces and see for yourself the vastness of the overwhelming contrasting landscapes, as you circle the coastal region of the Varanger fjord.
