For those who would like to get to experience more of the Varanger region, what better way than a road trip along the National Tourist Route of Varanger, which is a fun way to immerse yourself in the beauty, history and culture of Varanger.
We will drive towards the western direction of E75, we will drive through the villages of Vestre Jakobselv and Mortensnes, where we will look at remains that date as long back as the Stone Age. We will then make a few short stops in the beautiful region of Nesseby and Varangerbotn. Optional visit of the Sami museum (entrance fee).
And the trip doesn’t finish yet! We will continue driving northwards along E6, until we reach Tana Bru, one of Europe’s best salmon fishing places. Optional lunch in Varangerboth or Tana Bru (with supplement).
Feel the serenity that this corner of the World induces and see for yourself the vastness of the overwhelming contrasting landscapes, as you pass from the coastal region to the inland along the way.
We then continue the road to reach the gate to the Arctic tundra, with even more breathtaking landscapes!
